A popular way to increase your affiliate marketing revenue is my putting together a great free sign up offer, announcing this on a squeeze page and submitting your squeeze page URL to a traffic exchange program.

And while two main kinds of traffic exchanges are in operation out there today, auto and manual types, manual traffic exchanges are the preferred way to go. Manual traffic means more traffic, hence more leads from sign ups via your squeeze page, and hence the opportunity for more sales.

What happens is that you sign up for a free membership with a traffic exchange program. Then you validate your own site, entering the URL into your member area and going through the site’s process to view it for anywhere from 7 to 40 seconds, then clicking a verification that prompts you when the initial time period is up. Once you verify by clicking, your site is approved and added in with other member sites in a rotation.

As each member reviews websites on the rotation, they earn credits once they stay there for the minimum time, reading the offer on the site, then verifying the site by confirming the time ticker at the top of the page, similar to verifying your site above.

Once you find a traffic exchange site that interests you, read through any rules and regulations you find there, often on a FAQs page. Sign up for the free membership level to see how it works. Make sure to confirm your subscription via email, then go in and set up your member area, generally adding your URL and any other basic info required.

Log out, and then log back in to make sure you have all beginning steps taken care of, seeking help as needed through a support area on the site. Then look at your own URL via your member area, clicking a link that shows along the top, most often, to confirm or verify your site, once you have looked at it for approx. 7 minutes or so.

You have just kicked your own site into gear.

Now go through the member area link to look at other people’s website. A tiny ticker should appear, ticking off seconds. Once you reach the minimum, you can click the link to verify your viewing.

You have just earned credit! Continue as your time allows.
