The Most Profitable Business Model

We all know there are various ways to make money on the internet, but which one is the most profitable one?

Since I’ve started my online business, I’ve tried several ways to generate an income.

What I understood right from the start was that I had to build up my own e-mail list of people who are interested in the same topic as I am. So every Business Model that I’ve tested was always connected to further grow my e-mail list.

I found out that Giveaway Events are really great to build up a huge list in a very short time. The problem is that the event usually just lasts for 3 or 4 weeks, so after that the daily signups to my list drop dramatically. Still, running your own Giveaway Event is most powerful for giving your list a short but very strong boost.

Squeeze Pages in combination with free advertising methods such as Traffic Exchanges, Credit Based Safelists, Forum Marketing, Article Marketing etc. are great to constantly add new signups to your list. Some of these can be automated by using their viral nature. For example if you build up huge downlines in Traffic Exchanges, then you’ll get free credits from your downline members surfing.

But there is another Business Model… the one that I found to be superior above all… watch the video below!

  1. Hi admin, I liked the video but if you can specify more broadly and in details, i mean step by step to understand the system.thanks

  2. Well, it’s not possible to give you a step by step plan in a blog post. There have been several ebooks written on this topic, still if you read them it doesn’t mean you’ll be able to run a successful membership site. If you are very new to this, then you’ll need personal coaching or a lot of trial and error work on your own.

  3. Hi Guido

It is funny. I just started checking into how to start a membership site. I am not even sure what type I want to start yet, but I figure there is a lot to learn first anyway. I can offer members great information on accounting, writing articles, and using traffic exchanges and safelists. I think the key is to ask the people what they are interested in - either in forums or your list if you have one.

Thanks for making and sharing the video. By the way, Traffic Witch is a very good exchange. The people there are responsive, and people in other exchanges join like crazy especially since it has moved up the ranks in Traffic Hoopla and Affiliate Funnel so quickly. Keep up the good work.

  4. I really appreciated some of the gentle reminders in your video. I am in the middle of revamping my whole business and sites and I think that it will really make a different. I plan to add a membership site hopefully in the spring.

  5. HI, if You do the most clever thing, use good software, know how to use one and have some luck, You can possibly do it… No, nothing is wrong with Your video, but unless You give us details, and teach us how, when and what… You know, road to hell is made of good wishes…and bad realisations

  6. Hi Guido - thanks for the video.

I think some people above are missing the point!

One little video is not able to show you the light - it can point you in the right direction but people interested in creating a membership site have a heap of work and lots of research to do!

your video outlines, succintly what the general idea is - and thats good to get people exploring so well done!

    Happy New Year!

  11. membership sites are cool but unless you find a really sticky niche the average life cycle for members is 3 months. So is a membership site really better then simply having back-end offers? It seems that it would be about the same.

  12. Many membership sites use specialist software, such as “MemberGate” … which is not exactly cheap!! Others use adaptations of Wordpress which simply limit access to pages via .htaccess files.

But as a software programmer, I’m investigating a new option; giving publishers FREE USE of my membership software. No monthly fees, yet the software has features many other programs don’t have.

So what’s the catch? Well, I’m not letting hundreds of people use the software. Fact, initially I am limiting it to 25 - 50 people who have GREAT NICHE ideas for running a membership site.

Take a look at my site, and try the demo!

  13. Hi Guido,

I haven’t watched the video because I cannot!
I am from ‘the horse and buggy days’ having spent my entire working life in the years BC (Before Computers) and even worked for Austalia’s lading bank in a countty town without electricity in 1952.

I could not even contemplate spending $997 (which I do not have) for Membership Software as my wife only had 24 cents in our bank account on the night of 10 December, prior to our next Age Pension payment.

I will hve to be content with trying to earn income with T/Es without these aids.

In any case, I am totally opposed to OTOs (One Time Offers). I find them totally offensive.

  14. Hey Ken,

I can completely understand your situation… I’ve been broke when I first started out online. But that just means you need to take some hurdles and improvise to get the funds for professional software.

There are several membershipsite scripts out there… and as you can see (Chris’s Offer) you can even get some for free or very low cost. Still once you can invest the $997 go and get Launch Formula Marketing: http://www.guidonussbaum.com/presents/lfm/

The reason you should eventually get Launch Formula Marketing is because you can setup these OTOs that you don’t like… they will make you the most money ;-)

  15. Hello Guido and thank you for the video!

I’ve known for a while the advantages of a membership site. Unfortunately, I can’t come up with a way to provide endless information that people would be willing to pay for.

Do you have any (besides Traffic Witch, that is)?

Thanks again and Happy New Year!

  17. Membership sites is a great source of income because it is a recurring income. The only problem that I’m always scared of is providing great content on a regular basis. Having said that, outsourcing can be the best option.
